The Dog Standard is our formulation philosophy: a set of ingredient restrictions and fragrance guidelines created for homes shared with dogs. It is not a third-party certification, and it is not a claim that candles are risk-free for every animal.
- No intentionally added phthalates
- No ingredients classified as carcinogenic or mutagenic within our formulation requirements
- Added restrictions on essential oils and aromatic materials commonly associated with pet sensitivities
- Fragrance materials used within the applicable IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines for candles
- A coconut-and-soy wax blend selected for a clean, even burn
- A lead-free cotton wick
